Do I need to prep for my lash appointment?
Prior to you lash appointment please arrive with no face or eye makeup. This will help minimize the time it takes to prep your lashes resulting in more time to lash! If you wear contacts please arrive with them removed as your eyes will be closed for an extended period of time.
Will I loose my natural lashes?
Did you know on average we lose between 2 to 6 lashes per day? Our lashes are constantly growing and shedding! A lot of times we do not notice or see this until we have had some sort of an eyelash enhancement. So don't be worried! shedding is totally normal!
What are the aftercare instructions for my eyelash extensions?
-Do not wet your lashes for 24 hours.

-Avoid all oil based products on or around the eye area.

-Cleanse lashes daily with a formulated lash wash
​
-Rinse and/or cleanse lashes after a vigorous workout or being in chlorine and/or salt water.
​
-Do not rub, pick or pull at your extensions.
​
-Avoid mascara or any pencil eyeliner as this will leave a residue that will be hard to remove and will lessen your retention.

-Avoid exposure to excessive heat, steam & saunas
​
-Avoid sleeping face down on your pillow
​

Why is cleansing my lashes so important?
Did you know our eyelashes are there to help keep any bacteria or debris from our eyes? Eye infections occur when harmful microorganisms invade any part of the eyeball or its surroundings. Microorganisms include bacteria, fungi, or viruses. With proper cleansing you will get the most out of your extensions while keeping your lashes and skin healthy too!
How long does it take to apply eyelash extensions?
How often should I be coming in for maintenance on my eyelash extensions?
You should be coming in every 2 to 3 weeks for maintenance fills. We can go over & figure out what time line works best for you!
How long does it take for a keratin lash lift?
The keratin lash lift takes about an hour and a half! The yumi lashes keratin lash lift solution is of the highest quality of product made in France. The service takes longer then you may expect due to the importance of keeping the integrity of the lashes intact.
What are the aftercare instructions for my keratin lash lift?
After leaving your appointment you must keep the lashes dry for the next 48 hours. Some things to remember within the 48 hours are:

-No facial, sauna, or vigorous workout

-No mascara
​
-Do not sleep on the lashes
​
-When showering be sure the temperature isn't too hot as that will create moisture in the air
​
-When washing your face use a washcloth to cleanse your face while avoiding the eye area
​
After 48 hours get those lashes wet & you can resume normal activity!
How do I prep for my spray tanning appointment?
Prior to your spray tan appointment please shower, shave & exfoliate. This will ensure that your skin takes to the spray tan as it is only a coating to give you that natural glow. Please refrain from applying any lotions, deodorant, or anything that would cause a barrier. It is best to arrive in loose, dark clothing as you will need to wait 6-8 hours before rinsing.

A new set of eyelash extensions can take between an hour and a half to 3 hours depending on the clients natural lashes, type of set & the fullness desired.
